How to restart printer without pulling plug?

Any one know how to restart their Lexmark without pulling the power plug? I tried just pressing the power button and holding but that didn't work. Any ideas?

I just got a brand new Lexmark X4580 printer, and so far it's been pretty good to me and pretty easy to troubleshoot as well. The manual is pretty good.

I also found it pretty easy to set it up as a wireless device on my Netgear network, but that's another story.

Here's my problem which I can't find help for: The green display window says:

Flash Failed
Paper Size: Letter, Pap... (trails off end of screen).

I have tried taking the paper out and putting it back in and also turning the computer off and on. Anyone else have any idea what this error message means or how to fix it? Thanks
